Let's Get Acquainted
I am starting this blog at the strong encouragement of my husband. He is my biggest fan! It has been about 5 years in the making.
Mom of All Things began around a tshirt that I bought to wear for Read Across America Day, which is a day to celebrate Dr. Suess's birthday in schools across the country. My initial reaction was to laugh and comment that it was a good depiction of me (and I'm sure many others). I am the oldest of 5 children, mom to 3, bonus mom to 2, grandma to 2, and daytime "mom"/teacher to thousands more over the last 25 years as an elementary school teacher, and a wife.
As you might imagine, I have a few stories! My plan is to write about my experiences, new and old, from my perspective as wife, mother, grandma, teacher, and woman. I hope you find some entertainment, encouragement, and maybe even a little inspiration.
